Create a Pop-Up Alarm
Navigate to your site, then click on the Alarms button.
Click add to add a new alarm and then select the alarm trigger source. In this example we select Video Analytics Event and we tick the relevant device.
On the next window select the linked device, this is usually the same device that will trigger the event. Then click the box that reads “View linked devices when alarm is triggered”.
Assign the desired alarm recipients. Then, if desired, select the playback audio.
Decide whether you want to force the operator to acknowledge the alarm with a comment. You may also want to trigger a selected digital output here.
I will leave these fields to default value.
Lastly, name your alarm and then choose a schedule. I will select the default schedule.
Arm a Panel in ACC Client
You do not need to arm a panel for the pop-up alarm to work. Arming a panel will reserve the panel for alarms so unnecessary views are not opened.
That’s it!
